Weekly Photo Challenge: Selfie

I saw this weeks Photo Challenge and instantly knew I had to participate. You see, I’m a bit of a self proclaimed ‘selfie whore’. And I don’t apologize for it, I embrace it and accept it. I like to change my profile picture on fb frequently so when I’m not using a picture of my niece or nephews or even a pet, I take a selfie.

There IS an art to taking a good selfie. I see people post selfie’s that look like they simply did a ready…aim…shoot…post technique and it shows. Don’t you want it to look at least half decent? Don’t get me wrong, I don’t get my self all dolled up for a selfie but there is a difference between a good pic and a bad pic. It’s all about the right angle and lighting.

If I take a selfie and it looks horrible, I delete it and take another. Yeah I guess I’m a little vain but who wants a bad pic of themselves floating around the internet? hahahaha

So anyway, here is my submission for this weeks Photo Challenge.

And to answer a couple of the most common questions I get:

  • Yes, my eyes are blue.
  • No, I do not wear colored contact lenses. They look more or less blue depending on the lighting.

Here are some more of my recent selfies:
